of The United States. The
contest is a gesture of honor from the Polish-California establishment
toward the value,
charm and grace of Polish
beauty.
The event promotes the nobility
of Polish tradition and culture.

Miss Polonia and Queen of
Polonia Int. beauty pageants are based on the judgment of personality and
attractive presentation of her grace, charm and elegance. Grades
are based on contemporary, commonly accepted ideals of esthetics and beauty.
Points will be awarded by the judge panel consisted of eminent Los Angeles
artists and sponsors. Judges decisions will be final. The crown
and title of Queen of Polonia™2008, and Miss Polonia®
California 2008 will be held by the winner until the next Queen of Polonia
International™ and Miss Polonia®
California beauty pageant.

Cash and gift awards
(Cash prizes are founded by the sponsors
and organizers of the contest. The final value of the cash prize will be
announced on November 15th, 2008. All awards will be presented during the
festive coronation of the winners on November 15th, 2008. Cash prizes will
be distributed during the following 12 months at the winner's public appearances
during Polish events).

HOW TO ENTER
In order to declare the entry
to the contest,
the following should be
sent or delivered to HELLADA®

- the participation
form. (available at the location, by fax, mail or through
the internet).
- a written personal introduction
( in English, no more than 50 words ).
- a non-refundable
participation fee of US $30.00. Please do not send cash.
We will accept personal and
bank checks of US banks or international checks paid in US dollars.
Please, make checks payable to Hellada.
All the documents must be
received in our office by:
November 14th, 2008.

REQUIREMENTS
For the title Queen of Polonia™:
the contest is open to candidates
of Polish origin or nationality between the ages of 17 to 30 from around
the world. They do not have to be single. Candidates have to be 17 years
of age no later than November 15th, 2008 and 31 years of age no sooner than November
16th, 2008.
For the title Miss Polonia®
California;
the contest is open to single,
never married candidates of Polish origin or nationality with a current
California
residency, between the ages of 17 to 25. Candidates have to be
17 years old no later than November 15th, 2008 and 26 years of age no sooner
than November 16th, 2008. California residency will be verified by
California ID, California Driving License or any other legal document proving permanent place of living in California.
For both titles, Polish origin
or nationality will be verified by signed personal declaration. Identity
and date of birth will be verified by driving license or passport.
Attention: Any false information about
origin, identity or age will cause automatic disqualification.

POLONIA AMERICA® BEAUTY PAGEANTS
IN THE USA AND MISS POLONIA®
WORLD.

All finalists are required
to:
. - make provisions for their
travel expenses between place of living and Los Angeles.
- make provisions for their
own food expenses during the finals in Los Angeles.
- provide their own three
outfits; beach outfit, free choice outfit, and the evening dress.
- sign the model release
for use of all photographic and film materials recorded during the finals.
- sign an obligation to
represent and promote received title in person during three Polish events
within following year. (For the winners only).
Finalists who will arrive
to Los Angeles from outside California will be able to inquire for free
lodgment during the finals.

GRADES
The finals for both titles
will include the participation from the audience. Judges and the audience
will award the competition points. The largest amount of points accumulated
that evening will determine the winners for the title Queen of Polonia™
and Miss Polonia® California.
During the finals, all participants
will present themselves to the audience in beach outfit, their own
free choice outfit and evening dress. They will also introduce themselves
and answer to one contest question. Finalist competing for the title Queen
of Polonia 2008™ will answer an additional, second question. Questions
will be presented to all finalists on October 20th, 2008.

Rules for receiving points
from the audience:
Each ticket holder for the
Gala Finals will be allowed to assign two votes for two of the finalists,
(one vote per contestant). Audience will be able to award the finalists
from 0 to 30 points.
